Learn how to navigate life with coping skills for hearing loss
Speaker: Pamela Mang, LMFT – She will tell her personal story, speak on coping with invisible and communication disability as well as hearing loss and mental health.
Pamela Mang became profoundly deaf 20 years ago resulting from illness during pregnancy. She has been involved in the Deaf Community for over 30 years. She earned a master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy at Hope International University, Fullerton, CA. She became a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in 2012 and has a private practice in Cypress, CA. Her unique understanding of both Deaf and hearing viewpoints raises awareness of communication disabilities in mental healthcare.
